“Grace” is one of those “churchy” words we hear a lot about and don’t fully understand. “Amazing Grace” is one of the most well known songs in the world. But what does grace mean? We sing about it, we pray for it, we wish it for others, and we think it comes from God.
I have received it, haven’t you? Grace upon grace. Blessing upon blessing. I experience it all the time. A home and many friends. Beautiful family, the list is endless.
But I am not that special in terms of intelligence or intellect or talent. What I have has been given to me by God who keeps on giving, even when none of us deserves His gifts. God loves me. He loves you, too. When we think of His glorious gift—His Son and the forgiveness of our sin—the magnitude of what He has done takes our breath away. Grace is God’s loving nature.
Thank God He gives, and allows us, in turn, to give.
